Yours Might Be Bigger, But We’ve Got Two

Here’s a short poem I just stumbled across, forgotten I’d written it some time last season…

Coming alongside the fuel pontoon
we decided to have another go
as for some reason we didn’t know
the wind was having more of an effect on us
that we had expected.
There was a bloke waiting to grab our lines
but we calmly went round again, taking our time;
it was only then we noticed
our mizzen was still hoisted.
